- Reside in a surrogacy-friendly state (California is one of the top choices)
- Between the ages of 21 and 40
- Have had at least one uncomplicated pregnancy and birth (C-sections are welcome)
- Healthy with no STDs, HIV, and on manageable medications (*some medications are acceptable)
- No permanent birth control devices (tubal ligation is allowed)
- Parenting at least one child of their own
- No criminal history
- Health insurance with maternity coverage
- Stable income and reliable transportation
- No Medicaid or state insurance
- A non-smoker, with no exposure to smoke
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- A supportive spouse, significant other, or other reliable support system
- A healthy weight and height ratio (BMI)
- A genuine love for being pregnant and a sincere desire to help create a family through surrogacy
